Sotheby’s is proud to present The Collection of Geraldine and Harold Alden, an extraordinary selection of Modern and Contemporary Art. Assembled by Geraldine and Harold Alden with care and connoisseurship over decades, this Collection tells the story of a lifetime of collecting by a visionary couple: a pair who trusted their instinct and discerning eye to assemble a remarkable collection of 20th Century paintings, drawings, and sculptures.

In this video, Sotheby’s Senior Vice President and Senior Specialist Leslie Prouty touches on some of the highlights included in the Alden’s collected works, such as Roy Lichtenstein’s Modern Painting with Small Bolt, Hans Hoffman’s Golden Glow, Adolph Gottlieb’s Deep Over Pale, Tom Wesselman’s Great American Nude, No. 43, and finally Bruce Nauman’s Double Poke in the Eye II.

I had the privilege of collaborating with the Sotheby’s Video Team as an Associate Producer to make this video.
